Q. What is the entry deadline?

Nominations for the Distinguished Credit Union Leader Award: December 11, 2023 – January 31, 2024

Nominations for the Young Leaders Award: January 17, 2024 – March 20, 2024

Q. How do I submit a nomination online?

A. To get started, click the ENTER NOW tab. If you haven't already created an account/user profile, you will be prompted to do so at this point. Next, select the award you would like to submit a nomination for from the drop-down menu, complete the required fields, and attach any supporting documentation as outlined in the Submission Guidelines and Criteria. 

When your application is complete, save your work and select the FINALIZE button located at the bottom of the application form. You will then have the opportunity to review your "order" and will need to select the SUBMIT button to proceed. Next, if applicable, you'll be promted to provide your payment details (submission fee of $100 required for all awards entries except Distinguished Credit Union Leader Award) and select PROCESS to proceed with submitting your nomination. 

You will receive a confirmation email once your nomination has been received.

Q. What am I required to submit?

A. Please refer to the Submission Guidelines and Criteria of each award, located under the AWARD CATEGORIES section, for a full list of what is required when submitting a nomination. 

Q. What if I realize I don't have all of the required information once I start the application, do I have to start over?

A. No, Open Water allows you to save your application and continue at a later date so that you can complete the application at your leisure.

Q. Why is CCUA charging a submission fee?

A. The modest submission fee associated with the Awards Program will be put towards the rising administrative costs of running this program. Please note that there is no fee associated with the Distinguished Credit Union Leader award. View the submission fees here.

Q. When will we be notified that we won?

A. The Distinguished Credit Union Leader Award winner will be notified in February 2024. The Young Leaders Award winners will be notified in April 2024.
